Hi ,,

I'm a new Odoo trainer and I want to create new private channel but , when I write the name of the group in the textfiled only public channel option appear to me (#), also when I try to add some users to direct message I can not

Hello Sara,

You can achieve that by following the steps below:

  1. Activate debug mode
  2. Create a new group
  3. Go to the channel's settings then select your new group in "Authorized Group" 
  4. Enable the new group in users permitted to access this channel
