Hi!

I’m new to odoo, and trying to apply it to my company. I’m having trouble with automatically generating a Manufacturing Order when I place a Sales Order. It simply doesn’t happen. Following the Odoo video courses, it seems that, when setting my BMO, I should check (together with the buy or manufacture options) the route Replenish to Order (MTO).

The problem is that this option doesn’t appear. It never had. I don’t know if I need to install a specific application for that, the same way that I needed to install the Purchases app in order to have the Buy route.

Maybe the MTO option is not needed in order to have the MO created automatically when placing a Sales Order.

If someone can explain me this issue, I would be grateful, I’m completely stuck in this part of the process.

Hi,

I believe you require to create/ configure a route first to be able to view on the product template to check.

It is likely the video is of V13 while you might be on V14 and there might be certain differences.
