In the video "From Sales order to Manufacturing Order", would it be possible to use Reordering Rules instead of the MTO route for the table legs subproducts?

As I understand it, this way, it would not be necessary to issue an RFQ each and every time an SO is validated, but only if the stock for the subproduct runs below the minimum quantity defined in the reordering rule.

yes, you can, but this will generate a consolidated manufacturing order for each product containing all requested amounts.

i.e. if you have 2 sales orders; 1st SO contains 20 units and the 2nd contains 30 units. 1 manufacturing order will be generated to produce 50 units of the product.

this manufacturing order will be created when the scheduler will run either automatically on the scheduled time or manually when you choose to run it from inventory operations.
