In community version, I am unable to change the date of the invoice when I create, as in my scenario we make invoices when customer ask us too therefore we dont follow the sequence after validation

n1 invoice was made on 03-04-2020

n2 invoice to be made on 06-04-2020

n3 invoice to be made on 04-04-2020 


I want to change the date after validation of invoice with n3 to 5-4-2020 

please tell me a good method

Hi,

If you are trying to change the date after validation or status become posted Odoo will not allow this.

If you want this feature you need customize it and if you want to understand how to customize then read Odoo official documentation about invoicing App.
