Hello,

I would like my site visitors to able to download files  (i.e. user guides etc) via my website, but the absence of this function is stopping me from moving ahead with your website builder.

Is it correct conclusions, that this functionality is not possible with your product and if not, can you let me me know, how that would be possible?

Hello Anagha, 

I hope you are doing well. 

This is possible on Odoo. Here a the different steps to follow : 

  • 1. Activate the Developer Mode
  • 2. Go to Settings / Technical / Database Structure / Attachements and Upldoad the file you want to be downloadable on your website
  • 3. Go in list view > Select the Files that you want on your Website and export the local_url. 
  • 4. In your Excel Sheet copy the local URL. This will start with /web/image/
  • 5. On your Website builder create a button or a link and paste your local_url in the URL or Email section.
  • 6. Enjoy your Website with your files :)
