Hello, 

New to the Odoo platform...

Have existing website and wanting to link the domain to our odoo website build. 

I've contacted the domain name company and had them add the CNAME per instructions, then I went into Odoo and connected that domain name and it confirmed, then went into website builder and changed the domain name there as well per documentation but when I go to the site it still shows no server available. Am I missing something or is it just something I have to wait for Odoo or the domain name provider to propagate.


Note also the hosting company we had a wordpress site, email hosting and domain with them, they also mentioned there might be an A record we need to change also?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Answering this for other people, it turns out there is a cacheing across servers that needs to clear so this process can take up to 72 hours I've read, in my case it was around 8 hours later and the site was visible.
