The integration of the Facebook Conversions API with Odoo is not the most complicated part of this task.
The CAPI documentation Odoo Facebook Conversions API app. After activating the tracking, your website visitor's actions are logged to Odoo. They also include all required information about visitors for advanced matching.
The solution comes with the Facebook Pixel functionality, so events will be sent in two ways — via Facebook Pixel JS script and via Facebook Conversions API.
They complemented by the Event ID parameter to be deduplicated on the Facebook side. It's possible to deactivate the JS script if you need to send data by CAPI only.
Therefore, the decision to develop your own solution or use the ready-made one, every company considers personally.
