Hi

I switched off google Recaptcha as it was causing errors for customers when lodging forms. I received a warning that various Apps would be removed, one of which being Website so I cancelled out of it. The Apps were still removed and we have now lost entire website. Does anyone know how to recover it?

Hi,

In this case, the website can only be restored from previous backups.

This might be helpful for others.

1. If you ever want to switch off reCAPTCHA due to any issue, disable the reCAPTHA usage from the form using the website builder and then keep the reCAPTCHA settings in Settings empty( also can be filled with space) even if it is selected. This will help you to bypass the reCAPTCHA check.

2. If you just deselect the reCAPTCHA in order to disable it completely, your Apps data may be lost . Hence it is not recommended to do so.
